Legacy Technology Management
Through Technology have a strong pedigree in managing the replacement of Legacy Technology in UK Public Sector Systems. We have worked with HM Courts and Tribunals Service providing Delivery, Security and Solution leadership and assurance to help them remove or replace legacy systems across the Court system, while maintaining and improving data retention and security.
Our team worked closely with HMCTS and their supply chain (several layers deep) to develop the strategy, prioritisation and manage delivery of project to manage legacy systems based upon the 5 R's of Legacy Technology Management: Retain, Retire, Replace, Replatform and Rehost.
With our partner Archive360, Through Technology provide the secure data governance and archiving service that enabled HMCTS to retain and improve access to their data, its retention and disposition while retiring the expensive legacy applications in which it resided. Generating estimated savings in excess of £100M, while also introducing common metadata and governance key to future AI or analytic use cases.
