Through Technology Limited understands that personal information and privacy are important to you and that we must take data privacy very seriously in our own systems and those of our customers. We respect the privacy of everyone with whom we work and will only collect and use personal information in the manner described within this Privacy Notice.

 

By using our website and submitting any personal data you are agreeing to Through Technology's use of that data in accordance with this privacy statement.

What personal data do we collect and how?

All data collected by us is specifically and voluntarily provided by you as a visitor to this website or as a user of our systems. We will only collect limited information, through one of the following mechanisms.​

  • Submission of a query via our "Let's start a conversation" contact form.

  • Registration for download of reference materials

  • Submission of curriculum vitae or other relevant contact, skills, availability and experience information for those looking to join our team.

  • The recording and transcribing of meetings on our Microsoft Teams solution.

 

Any such data will either be transmitted to us via secure email, stored within a secure area by our web-hosting provider "wix.com" accessible only to authorised through technology staff or - in the case of meeting recordings - stored within our secure Microsoft Office tenant.

 

How do we use the data we collect?

We will only use personal data for the purposes stated on our website (or where the purpose is obvious from the context in which it is collected e.g. a contact form). Examples of the types of use are shown above. We may also use your information to contact you about Through Technology's business, work opportunities, events, and services or to provide other information which may be of use to you based upon our initial contact. Instructions explaining how to cease messaging or contact by Through Technology will be provided with each communication or by contacting dataprotection@throughtechnology.uk

In the case of individuals and companies that work with us, we may share curriculum vitae and availability information with existing and prospective clients to demonstrate our team composition and capability. This will only be done with your express permission.

How do we manage meeting recordings and transcriptions?

Where a meeting is to be recorded or transcribed, the host of the meeting will make all participants aware that this will take place, the purpose for which any recording or transcription will be used and period for which it will be retained.

Do we share your information with anyone else?

We do not share any personally identifiable information with any third parties unless:

 

     a. Required to do so under the Law.

Should you require details of the personal information we store, you have the right to do so and should contact us at dataprotection@throughtechnology.uk. We reserve the right to charge a nominal fee for responding to such requests where this is permissible under UK law.

 

How long is information kept for?

We only retain personal information for the period necessary for the purpose for which it is collected or as required by Law. Contact details provided through our "Let's start a conversation" form are only retained for the period necessary to completely service the contact request.

 

How is data kept securely?

Only authorised Through Technology people will have access to personal data. Through Technology will adopt industry-standard practices in ensuring appropriate technical and operational security for the protection of personal data collected by this website. Including reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised disclosure, modification or deletion of the data.

 

Cookies

Through Technology's website does not currently use Cookies (small files used to track website activity).   This privacy statement will be updated should that change.

 

Changes to this Privacy Notice

This privacy notice will be subject to review from time to time or in response to changes in the applicable legislation.
