Press Release - Through Technology win another customer for GCF Email transition

LONDON - FEBRUARY 1st 2019 – Through Technology, the UK ICT Consultancy firm specialising in public sector infrastructure transformation, has been awarded a G-Cloud 10 contract to support the secure transition of DWP's 15 "gsi.gov.uk" email domains from the Government Convergence Framework (GCF) Mail relay service to public cloud email security platforms..
The contract will see Through Technology supply an expert team to undertake a detailed transition readiness assessment, assist the department with any remedial activity required and supervise the implementation and testing of the email service cutover with Vodafone.
Whilst the deadline for support of gsi.gov.uk email addresses on the GCF service has just been extended out to March 2020, there are still around 500 customers remaining to transition off the service with limited capacity available from Vodafone (the GCF Service supplier) to support this change. Having already migrated the single largest customer (Ministry of Justice) off this service with their 220+ email domains, Through Technology are uniquely placed to assist other public sector organisations with this challenge in the next 12 months.
