Cyber Essentials Certified
Through Technology has just gained a Cyber Essentials certification.
Cyber Essentials is – as the name implies – a certification that demonstrates that suppliers such as ourselves have the basic essentials of cyber security in place to protect our own and our customer’s data.
The standard is currently only mandated for government procurements involving the storage of personal data, but is really something that clients should insist upon as a demonstration of basic ICT competency. In 2018, it will become a mandatory requirement of the G-Cloud framework.
With our experience working on secure uk public sector infrastructure…. Lets just say this wasn’t a challenge, but it useful in flagging our competence in this area to new customers.
